Minister for Development, Industry and Trade in London for JETCO

The JETCO was established following the UK-Brazil Joint Declaration made during President Lula's state visit to the United Kingdom in March 2006. Since then, bilateral trade has increased significantly and there has been a resurgence of UK investment in Brazil.
The two-day schedule, starting on 19 September, included a ministerial meeting between Miguel Jorge and John Hutton, UK Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, and a meeting between representatives of the British and Brazilian business communities.
Wednesday, 19 September:
10am-12pm: Working Group on Legal Services

4pm: CEO Roundtable, chaired by Andrew Cahn (UK Trade and Investment – UKTI) and Alessandro Teixeira (president of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency – APEX).
