Petrobras breaks record for Brazilian oil exports

Petrobras, Brazil's state-owned national oil company, set a new record for monthly oil exports in November, selling a total of 14.52 million barrels at an average of 484 thousand barrels per day.
Of all Brazil's offshore oilfields, the biggest contributor to November’s export total was the Marlim field in the Campos Basin off the state of Rio de Janeiro.
According to Petrobras, November's exports will earn the company approximately US$740m, which will have a 'considerable' positive impact on Brazil’s balance of trade.
The principal markets supplied by Petrobras are the Gulf of Mexico, the west caost of the United States, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, India, Korea and China.
