University of Essex turns spotlight on Latin American art

The University of Essex has the only public art collection in Europe dedicated exclusively to modern and contemporary works from Latin America, and it is currently running a series of weekly talks (entitled 'Spotlight on Latin American Art') focusing on specific pieces in the collection.

On 19 November the subject will be the painting Memory (Memória) by the Brazilian artist Siron Franco.

The talks take place at 1pm every Wednesday in the Albert Sloman Library Foyer, University of Essex, Wivenhoe Park, Colchester, CO4 3SQ. No booking is necessary.
