The Brazilian Government is deeply saddened by the news of terrorist attacks that took place on Wednesday in the Indian city of Mumbai, in which dozens of people died.

In sending its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the Indian Government, the Brazilian Government also reaffirms its vehement condemnation of all forms of terrorism.

According to information received from the Consulate of Brazil in Mumbai there appear to be no Brazilians among the victims.
