Global Fellowship students travel to Brazil

A hundred UK school and college leavers have been selected to spend six weeks in either Brazil, China or India as part of the second year of the Prime Minister's Global Fellowship programme, which aims to give young British people an opportunity to 'experience first-hand the major new countries of the global economy' and 'engage with exciting international opportunities for their future'.
On 16 July the following young people will be travelling to Brazil, where they will spend two weeks studying Portuguese and learning about Brazilian culture before participating in a placement programme with UK-Brazil companies:

On their return they will be asked to tell the story of their trip, both in the school or college they attended in and also elsewhere in their community. They will also be invited to 10 Downing Street to share what they have learned with the Prime Minister and with each other.
