Accreditation for UN Alliance of Civilizations Forum, Rio de Janeiro, 27-29 May 2010


The form for accreditation for the III Alliance of Civilizations Forum (AdC) can be accessed online: all members of official delegations, invited guests and other interested parties are requested use it in order to register. Applications for accreditation will be analysed by the by the AdC Co-ordinating Office in Brasilia and by the AdC Secretariat at the UN.

Applicants will receive notification of their registration by email. After registration, participants will be able to alter the information on their forms by following a specific internet link that will be sent to the contact email address they provided when registering. Any queries with regard to completing the form can be sent by email to adc@mre.gov.br. Priority will be given to the accreditation of official delegates.

All those who wish to participate in the AdC Forum, particularly official guests, must register as soon as possible. Details of the logistical support will be provided for the official delegations and for the guests of the Brazilian Government in due course. Information about visas can be found on the website of the Brazilian Consulate.

PRESS

The registration form includes a part specifically for official press. For each delegation led by a Head of State, only one camera operator and one photographer will be regarded as official press by the Brazilian Government. In addition to these two individuals, any other journalists, photographers, camera operators or technicians - whether or not they are working with an official media organization - will be treated as normal journalists, which means they will have access to a press room equipped with computers and an internet connection.
